bvnqr
bvnqr (pronounced “bunker”) was looking to come into the underground techno scene with an impactful and unique aesthetic.
Being the antithesis of mainstream electronic music and culture they needed a recognizable visual identity that matched their ambitions and what they stand for.

Approach
The first concept of the brand was to create an aesthetic that is simple but gritty while having the feeling of a 'secret society' and still having an aestehtic that can be related to underground techno music.
The main idea we came up with this aesthetic was:
"A VINTAGE FEEL THAT HAS BEEN FILTERED THROUGH THE FUTURE"
This is the main concept we ran with.
We wanted the elements to still be simple but stand out creating a high proportional density (less elements but more meaning).
By forgoing brand photography, we made this this only graphical element used by the brand.
